AMY BROOKS

Aarbie is Amy's first label since achieving a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design from Bath Spa University in 2009. Whilst studying at university, Amy discovered that her passion and skill lay in the construction and pattern cutting of garments. She has taken inspiration from her grandmother Isabella, a tailoress, and focused these two creative forces together into her final collection at University 'House of Isabella'. Amy has developed her own style of designing and making women's clothes, mixing tailoring and drape to produce clothes which showcase a woman's figure.

The Aarbie label illustrates perfectly Amy's passion and skill in producing stunning tailored and draped womenswear, which give "the red carpet" look. Within the Aarbie label, Amy wishes to create high quality and beautifully made clothing which not only flatter the wearer but which also allows them to feel confident and comfortable.

This current collection, the first for the Aarbie label, consists of five dresses which are perfect for the party season. Each dress combines the glitz of Hollywood with a mix of vibrant rich colours including green, blue and fuchsia, together with eye-catching embroidery inspired by Indian fabrics.
